Antenatal Weekend Workshop

Service Description

Our Antenatal Weekend Workshop offers a calm, supportive and immersive one-day experience, designed for those who would prefer to learn everything they need in one relaxed and carefully guided session. The day runs from 11am to 5pm on Sunday 20th of September 2026 and is led by experienced midwives who combine evidence-based education with a warm and welcoming approach. With small group sizes of up to 8 couples, the workshop creates a comfortable space where you and your birth partner can feel at ease, ask questions, and build confidence together. A light lunch and refreshments are provided throughout the day, allowing you time to pause, reflect and connect with others and you’ll also receive a thoughtful goodie bag to take home. Beyond the workshop itself, there are opportunities to continue those connections, including joining a WhatsApp group, attending a relaxed social meet-up (3-5pm on Sunday 27th of September 2026) and coming back together for a postnatal catch-up with your group and midwife once your babies arrive. Across the sessions, we’ll cover; • Preparing for birth • The stages of labour, including coping techniques and practical tips • Types of birth and your available options • Creating your birth preferences • The role of your birth partner and how they can support you • Pain relief options (natural and medical) • When and why you might meet a doctor • Practical postnatal care for you and your baby • Feeding your baby • Time for your questions and open discussions We look forward to meeting you and supporting you to feel informed, confident and prepared🌿
