Last updated: May 2026

Welcome to Little Roots. We are committed to providing calm, supportive, and evidence-based antenatal education for families across South Wales. These Terms & Conditions are designed to clearly explain our policies and ensure a positive experience for everyone attending our courses and workshops.

By booking a class, course, workshop, or service with Little Roots, you agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined below.

1. About Us

Little Roots is a midwife-led antenatal education service offering antenatal courses, hypnobirthing sessions, breastfeeding workshops, infant feeding support, and related educational services.

Throughout these Terms & Conditions, “Little Roots”, “we”, “our”, or “us” refers to Little Roots Antenatal Education.

“You” or “your” refers to the person booking or attending our services.

2. Booking & Payment

2.1 Full payment is required at the time of booking in order to secure your place on a course or workshop.

2.2 Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received and you have received confirmation from Little Roots.

2.3 All course prices are listed in GBP (£).

2.4 We reserve the right to amend course pricing at any time, although any confirmed bookings will remain at the agreed price.

3. Course Attendance

3.1 Our courses are open to anyone wishing to prepare for birth and early parenthood, including first-time parents, returning parents, birth partners, and support persons.

3.2 We aim to provide an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment for all attendees.

3.3 We kindly ask that all attendees behave respectfully towards staff and other participants during sessions.

3.4 We reserve the right to refuse attendance or remove individuals from a course if behaviour is considered disruptive, inappropriate, threatening, or unsafe. In these circumstances, refunds will not be provided.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

4.1 Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel your booking, the following refund policy applies:

  • More than 28 days before the course start date: full refund

  • Between 10–28 days before the course start date: 50% refund

  • Less than 10 days before the course start date: no refund

Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe using the original payment method where possible.

To ensure the best possible experience and group interaction, our antenatal courses require a minimum of three bookings to run.

Should a course not reach the minimum number of participants, Little Roots reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the course. In these circumstances, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or a transfer to an alternative course date, subject to availability.

We will provide as much notice as reasonably possible and will always endeavour to find a suitable solution for those affected.

4.2 Transfer Requests

Where possible, we may offer the option to transfer your booking to a future course date. Transfers are offered at our discretion and subject to availability.

4.3 If Your Baby Arrives Early

If your baby arrives before your course begins and you are unable to attend, we will offer:

  • a full refund if the course was due to start before 37 weeks of pregnancy, or

  • the option to transfer onto a future suitable session where appropriate.

4.4 Pregnancy or Baby Loss

In the heartbreaking event of miscarriage, stillbirth, or baby loss, a full refund will always be offered.

5. Cancellation or Changes by Little Roots

5.1 In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule a course or workshop, attendees will be offered either:

  • a transfer to an alternative date, or

  • a full refund.

5.2 We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to course content, venues, timings, or facilitators where necessary.

5.3 We are not responsible for additional costs incurred due to cancellations or schedule changes, including travel, accommodation, childcare, or loss of earnings.

5.4 Late Arrival - We understand that travelling, traffic, and other commitments, especially during pregnancy, can sometimes make punctuality challenging. We kindly ask that all attendees arrive on time to ensure you gain the full benefit of each session and to minimise disruption for others.

If you arrive late, you are welcome to join the session; however, we will not be able to recap missed content or extend the session time. In some cases, entry may be delayed or restricted if a session has already started, particularly where it may disrupt the group or sensitive discussions. Sessions will finish at the scheduled time regardless of late arrivals. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds, partial refunds, or transfers for missed content due to late arrival.
