Prepare for birth and early parenthood in a calm, supportive and immersive one-day experience 🌿

Based in Magor & Undy Community Hub our Antenatal Weekend Workshop is designed for those who would prefer to learn everything they need in one relaxed, carefully guided day.

 

Led by experienced midwives, this session combines evidence-based education with a warm, welcoming environment, giving you the time and space to build confidence, ask questions, and feel truly prepared.

 

Suitable for:

• Expectant parents in their third trimester, ideally before 37 weeks.

Course includes: 

• Full-day antenatal workshop (11am–5pm)

• Light lunch and refreshments provided

• A thoughtful goodie bag

• Small, supportive group

• Option to join a WhatsApp group to stay connected

• Post-course social meet-up with the group

• Invitation to a postnatal catch-up with your group and midwife

• Preparing for birth

• The stages of labour, including coping techniques and practical tips

• Types of birth and your available options

• Creating your birth preferences

• The role of your birth partner and how they can support you

• Pain relief options (natural and medical)

• When and why you might meet a doctor

• Practical postnatal care for you and your baby

• Feeding your baby

• Time for your questions
